What did class secretaries do before e-mail? Thank goodness for those easyto-send updates!

Robbie Farina Glaesser is now mom to twins! She and her husband Kurt welcomed Will Brennon and Henry Kai on December 1. The Glaesser family lives in Tucson, where Robbie is a dermatology resident and Kurt practices radiology. Maybe it's something in the water, but Alex Glovsky also wrote to let us know that he and wife Cheryl are new parents to twin boys, born September 19. Mom, Dad, Nicholas and William all make their home in Ipswich, Massachusetts, and Alex is a junior partner at Nutter, McClennen & Fish in Boston, practicing corporate law. Alex says he's been enjoying subjecting his infant sons to Rick Smyers and his wife, Lydia, as well as Tad Truex and his wife, Sam.

For nearly a year now Shary Taylor Gentry has been living in London with her husband and her "very active toddler" Alison. They've traveled to Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Brussels and Stockholm, as well as around the English countryside—and hope to hit Spain, Scotland and the Czech Republic before their stint in England is over in another year. Shary would love to hear from any classmates passing through London; their flat is in Kensington, near Holland Park: shary.john@cwcom.net.

John Sun checked in with his first-ever letter to the Class Notes. He's living in Boston, where he's doing an internal medicine residency, and he's married to Yumee Shim '93. Joo is living in New York City, where he's a trader for Chase Manhattan Bank; Also at the wedding were Vincent Carter, who is living in Washington, DC.,'with his wife and 2-year-old son, and Umesh Madan, who is also married and working for Microsoft. Leonard Chang's new novel, Over the Shoulder (Ecco Press/HarperCollins) should be on bookshelves now. It's a hybrid literary and crime novel about a man looking into the details of his father's death that occurred 20 years earlier. Check out his Web site at www. leonardchang.com.

According to a press clipping, James Durand has entered Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell. He served 10 years as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy air wing.

The position of class Webmaster is now recognized as an office by the Alumni Council, and an association of class Webmasters has also been formed. Our class Webmaster Geoff Bronner says, "I see electronic communication as a critical need for alumni classes going forward, and I intend to be actively involved in this association and also with the future growth of the Vox Alumni Network." If you haven't yet, check out our class Web page at www.alum.dartmouth.org/classes/91/.

In other e-mail related news, the class of 1957 recently initiated a listserv on which environmental issues are being discussed. The listserv, named "green-mouth," is open to all members of the Dartmouth community and others who share the groups concern for the earths environment. To subscribe, just send a message to majordomo@dartmouth.edu and in the body of the e-mail message include the words "subscribe green-mouth" (without the quotation marks). To review the postings that have been made to the listserv already, send a message to mmowbray@worldnet.att.net and ask to review the green-mouth archive.
