The class was well represented at a luncheon in honor of President Wright s visit to Sarasota, Florida, on March 14. President Don Stillman and wife Pat came down from Long wood, Zeke Billings and Dickey were there, ditto John Kelley, also Phil Hall, who divides his time between Florida and his paper supply business in Connecticut. Phil has some vision problems, as does Tom Trump, who attended the luncheon on the guiding right arm of his wife, Patty. Don Taber, recovering gamely from his third hip replacement, was present with wife Jo. Ginny and I enjoyed, the gatheringof 140 friends of Dartmouth that included Sally Frechette Maynard and her congenial Princeton hubby. Sally, a former trustee of the College, divides her time between Peterborough, New Hampshire, and the Sarasota area.

Had a nice telephone chat with Cam Farmer, who is enjoying his retirement in Muskegon, Michigan, after 24 years as a district judge in that area. He and Kim have managed to escape this year's bitter winter weather by visiting the Hawaiian Islands and sailing southern waters from Cancun, Mexico, to Belize. Earlier trips have taken them to Africa, Nepal and northern India and the month of May will find these world travelers in Italy.

Also talked to Stew Wallace out in Littleton, Colorado. He checks in daily with his old office out there. After traveling the world as a hard rock geologist, that's tame work, but it keeps him busy and happy. We both lived in Hitchcock Hall freshman year, but we couldn't recall Stew's roommate. Will the missing man please identify himself?

Stacy Hill sounded great on the phone from Oregon. He and Kay were about to go to Golden, Colorado, to celebrate the first birthday of their youngest grandchild, No. 13. Stacy plays golf four times a week, but his hip replacement prevents him from playing tennis. Kay carries on for the Hill family in both tennis and golf. On a recent trip to their old haunts in Cincinnati, they ran into Downey Gray and his wife, Betsy, who were expecting to make the 60th reunion in Hanover. And speaking of the 60th shindig, we all owe Vic Schneider and his committee a great vote of thanks for arranging a super event. A heartfelt wah-hoo-wah, Vic, for your outstanding work!
