Winding up our 55th reunion: Treasurer Joe Kurey reports that all bills have been paid and that with the repayment of the advance to the class treasury, we essentially broke even. That's a tribute to planning! Leroy "Bear" Davis had planned to join us in June, flying in from San Diego, California. At the last minute, he decided it would have been too much. He can be reached at P.O. Box 442, Wildoman, CA 92595.

Our presidential intern Jennifer Toutak '02 was the head marshal at the graduation exercises. We remember her well from her presentation at our mini-reunion last fall. Our presidential intern for this academic year is Melissa Hammerle '03, who is another outstanding candidate. Those who attend the mini-reunion in November can expect to meet her.

Judge William Enright in June was the recipient of the American Inns of Court Professionalism Award for the Ninth Circuit (southern district of California). The award was presented in San Diego at the Circuit Judicial Conference and honors a senior practicing judge or lawyer who displays sterling character and unquestioned integrity. Congratulations!

The sympathy of the class is extended to the families of the several classmates who passed away recently: Henry Bissinger, Dr. Arthur Carr, Ralph DeFonce, John Gugich, Richard Hartung, Robert Ives, Gerard Mauer, Robert Price, Harold Redner, Roland Routier, Henry Stadnik and H. Richard Wilking.
