Brad Hollenbeck's daughter, Lynn '83, took pity on your secretary and e-mailed a note about Brad. After graduating from Columbia School of Architecture and starting his career with a NYC firm, Brad moved to East Hampton, New York. A drive from Hampton Bays to Montauk will reveal over 1,000 homes, hotels, motels churches, gas stations and stores designed by Brad to meet the needs of this resort community. In his spare time he sings with a'local barbershop chorus and has sung in local community theater productions. He has recently cut back on his architectural practice to focus on his watercolor painting.
Last April Tom Corcoran was saluted by friends and industry colleagues in Waterville Valley, Vermont. Tom was described as fit and tanned and now a trans-Atlantic sailor. He and Daphne have been sailing around the world for several years. They have moved to South Carolina.
Bud Martz retired as editor of World PressReview Magazine in 1999 and now writes and edits as a freelancer. He was a Newsweek staffer for 32 years, including stints as business editor, national affairs editor, assistant managing editor and editor of Newsweek International. As editor of Newsweek International Bud ran the three overseas editions of the magazine. Returning to the domestic magazine as a special writer, he wrote cover stories on national affairs, business and the economy, international affairs, religion, science and education. In his last year at Newsweek he created and supervised Newsweek Focus, an innovation in customized publishing that offered subscribers special monthly supplements covering personal finance, science and technology and international news on book excerpts. He has written two books, Ministry of Greed (with a co-author) and Making Schools Better.
