As promised, more news from William Boulware, who reports that he stays in regular contact with Gwen Pointer: "Before she left Phoenix to return to New England, we traveled to the Grand Canyon—she rented a land yacht and made me drive. Ms. Pointer works for Brockton (Massachusetts) Rox, a baseball team. She and I traveled last April to Amsterdam for the queens birthday celebration." He adds: "Kyle Blood remains in NYC, working diligently and starting his own design business." Finally, William notes that this past year, his travels have also taken him all over Europe and down to Australia, and that he would welcome company from other '90s.

After completing her doctorate in Renaissance literature at UNC in 2000, Nancy Staab "moved from Boston to Birmingham to take an editorial job at Southern Living. I have written about everything from beach houses, to barbecue festivals, to southern weddings, to interviews of a flamenco dancer and country singer Robert Earl Keen. I have traveled all over the South from Austin to Charleston. Now I am hanging up the cowboy boots and taking on a new job as the architecture and gardens editor at Southern Accents. I will still be located in Birmingham, but at least now I can use some of the architecture 'expertise' I picked up in my former job as marketing director for a small architectural firm in Boston." You'll see Nancys byline in the magazine sometime next year.

Relaying news about classmates, Nancy reports:" Jenn Scott Nesich still resides in Seattle with her husband, Steve. When not traveling to Hawaii, the French countryside, a hippie fair in Oregon or some other exotic locale, she continues to do business/marketing at a health corporation, and works on an independent movie screenplay on the side.

"Jane Varner Malhotra just moved from Kansas City to Washington, D.C., with her husband, Amit. Before they left Jane threw a neighborhood block party blowout with endless pitchers of sangria. Amit works for Sprint and travels internationally to places such as London and Japan for his job. They have three pretty little girls with huge brown eyes, who keep their parents quite busy. Jane is currently fixing up their new home in D.C., including painting the dining room a festive and non-traditional shade of orange—a perfect match for future sangrias served there? She recently spent a weekend in Hanover as a member of the Alumni Council.

"Monica Davis got her Ph.D. several years ago in optics from Stanford. She relocated to Boston about the time I left, and does something extremely high-tech for Corning that I can't begin to fathom. Last time we talked she was being squired to Boston theaters and restaurants by some suave Latin doctor.

"Jane Williams Vale and husband Anthony live in a beautiful house outside Boston with a photogenic young son and daughter. They sent me home-made jams at Christmas time, though I don't know how they had the time for this gesture with two careers going and a family.

"Finally, I made brief e-mail contact with John Stouffer around the Olympics. An employee of AOL Time Warner like myselfalbeit located in California beachland—John works as editor-in-chief of Snowboarding Business, and headed to Utah to cover the competitions there when I caught up with him. He apparently continues to surf, and has a swanky apartment on the beach."

Thanks for the note, Nancy: Best wishes for a great holiday season and 2003 to all— and remember to keep us all posted.
