Thanks to everyone who sent me their news this month! Chris Broggi sent me an e-mail to say that he and his wife, Sharon Silveira Broggi '92, are new parents for the second time. Alexandre Martin Broggi was born on June 5, coming in at a healthy 9 pounds, 3 ounces and 21 inches long. The entire family, including big brother Dante, is doing well.
Kellie (Cummings) Kelm wrote to say that in April she married Rob Kelm in her hometown of Albany, New York. Apparently the loudest and rowdiest two tables of all her guests were the '95s: Catherine Harper; Howie Rumjahn; Dave Boschetto; Andre Leroux; Judy (Hall) Walker with her husband, Kwame; Eric Pilotte; Dan Foster; Cliff Weiss; and Tim Rodenberger and his wife, Diana.
Kellie gave me updates on her guests. Eric Pilotte is also a newlywed. He married Erin Wright '98 in June just outside of Yosemite National Park. The couple lives in Phildelphia, Pennsylvania, where Eric works for Microstrategy and Erin is completing her second year of veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. Catherine Harper finished her first year at Stanford Law School and spent the summer working for a firm in Minnesota. Dave Boschetto is an attorney in Boston, Massachusetts, and is contemplating a major a life change. He may continue practicing law or teach high school history. Dan Foster works on GPS software at To pografix. Tim Rodenberger just finished his second year at Harvard Law School. Judy (Hall) Walker just had her second child, a boy, Micah, in March. Her first child, Margaret, is 2. Andre Leroux is a field manager for one of the Massachusetts Democratic gubernatorial candidates, Tom Birmingham. He and his wife, Maria, have son Marc, who is 2. Howie Rumjahn is a flight surgeon with the Navy, practicing medicine and learning how to fly. CliffWeiss is living in Baltimore, Maryland. He just finished his internship and will be starting a radiology residency at Johns Hopkins University. As for Kellie, she is finishing her Ph.D. dissertation in cell biology at Johns Hopkins.
Brian Wall sent me substantial summer wedding news. First, he married Wendy Dunaway (UVM alumni) in June. They were married in Woody Creek, Colorado, outside of Aspen. The couple met when Brian worked for iXL Inc. in Boston. Brian has a growing family with the addition of dog Walter. Adrian Booth, Philip Gutry and Greg Nemet were in the wedding party. Dartmouth '95 guests included Gingi Cabot, Whitney Connor, Brian Hone, Kristi Kimball, Eric and Katie Knuppel (married in St. Louis, Missouri, in May), Doug Marple, Dave McHale, Andras Petery, Charlotte Shropshire, Andrew Swanson, Dan Torinus, Michael Wexler and his wife, Rachel '96. Brians wedding was followed by Dan Torinus' wedding in July in Dans home state, Wisconsin. Other June weddings include: Todd Miller, who was married in June in San Francisco, California; and Jamie Parks, who was married at the Keystone Resort in Colorado. I received news that Laura Walker married Eric Chung (Harvard '96) this past June in Chicago, Illinois. The couple met at the University of Chicago business school, and are moving to Boston this fall. Both will be consultants. Finally, Alexandra "Sasha" Verkh wrote to say that she, husband Todd Haskell and babyjordan are leaving the City of Angels for Champaign, Illinois. Todd obtained a post-doc fellowship at the University of Illinois. If anyone is in the area in the future and needs a place to crash, they should contact Sasha and Todd at alexandra verkh (pyahoo.com. Apparently, the Chicago Bears will be playing their home games in Champaign for the next two years.
