Ruggers Return

More than 150 alumniand spouses a and spouses attended a 50th anniversary celebration of Dartmouth rugby last May in Hanover. Nearly every class since 1951 was represented at the weekend event, which featured a matchup of 'Bos in a snowy game against '90s. (Youth did not prevail, as the 'Bos won, 31-21.) "The weekend was a tremendous success," says organizer Scott Gardner '92. "Our goals for the next 50 years—or sooner, I hope—are to build a rugby clubhouse on campus and win a national championship."
