Hi all. Lots of news again, so I'll try to keep my witticisms to a minimum. I'll let David Shaff wow you with his witty prose instead: " I don't know how many of you rush home after work to test your skills against America's great minds on Jeopardy" muses Dave, but if you didn't on November 29, you missed a memorable performance. Our very own Adam M. Lipsius appeared on Alex Trebek's trivia forum. He started out very strong, but seemed to falter in the later rounds, where his inadequate grasp of Canadian politics became obvious. Despite a stellar Final Jeopardy" round, he returned home from California with a Jeopardy home game in his hand and a Home Shopping Network gift certificate in his pocket. At least Alex laughed at Adam's story." I wonder what the story was. Sorry I missed it, Adam! Chad Nunnery writes with an update on his life since graduation—he spent his first few post-Dartmouth years with Norton Cos. in Brownsville, Texas, where he met his wife, Gabriela, in 1997. "We later moved to the Chicago suburbs for a job change to the family company, BMC Inc. (manufacturing plastic raw materials)." Yes, plastics. Just like Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate. After a couple of years in the Chicago area, Chad and Gabriela were sent to Mexico City to start a small satellite operation, where Chad now serves as the general manager. Maybe that's where Ben and Elaine go at the end of the movie...they get off the school bus and hop on a plane to Mexico. Hope you both continue to live safely and happily! Hunter Buckner and wife Robyn are the proud parents of Ford David Buckner, who was born in September and is " learning quickly how to protect himself from his 3-yearold sister Tabitha's constant eye-gouging and cheek pinching." Hunter recently founded Tab Forward, a marketing consulting company based in Dallas, and has been "blessed with a steadily growing workload." Hunter and Robyn recently took the kids on a journey to Hanover to catch the Dartmouth-Princeton football game: "We made the journey with the usual suspects and their respective families," writes Hunter: Chris Boran '95, Dave Schumacher '95, Dr. O. Josh Bloom '95, A.J. Scheier '95 and Marcus Motroni '95. We maybe getting older, getting married and having kids, but we were oh so happy to have rented a house with a pong table in the basement. Just like old times." Hope you were able to keep Tabitha away from the pong table—she sounds like a feisty one! Max Nealon writes to let us know that he and Jason Mainland recently completed their first CD, titled Dreamworld. Clare (Choo) Ming also appears on the album. Max, Jason and Clare are excited to be able to invite other class members to listen to pieces from the finished project at www.maxnealon.com. We'll have to check it out! Mariella Villa Spayde writes that after receiving her M.B.A. from Kellogg in June 2001, she married Ryan Spayde in Michigan.
