As mentioned in the recent PaceSetter, our next reunion is planned for the last weekend in September—the 24th and 25th of

2004—respectively. Everything will be in the Hanover Inn as in our 65th. The football game will be for the championship of New Hampshire with the University of New Hampshire. Please give this weekend serious thought! Also—the Pace Setter should have given you an appreciation of our 65th thanks to the memorable narrative written by Jean.

Class sympathies go to the families of three classmates who recently passed away: Don Badger, Bill Olmstead and Phil Leach. Phil, among many things, will be remembered for the exciting weekends with both him and Ginny at their home on Lake Morey during our mini-reunions.

Our annual contribution to the athletic program resulted in a campus visit for Susan Fox of Thousand Oaks, California, who was so impressed that she applied and was accepted under "early admission." Susan, by the way, is an all-star softball catcher. I'll try to have us meet her at our 2004 mini-reunion.

Many thanks go to Gil Tanis and his merry band of solicitors for helping to present $100,459 to this years Alumni Fund. Also, my thanks to you who made this possible!

Again, from my friend from Dartmouth medicine, Dwight Parkinson, about Dick Rooker: "Dick says he and Irene go along sort of on automatic pilot. So far they are doing very well. Irene has had post-herpetic neuralgia for the past 18 months. They looked awhile ago for lifetime care facilities in Ohio, Indiana and California—but decided to stay in Lewiston, New York, where they thoroughly enjoy a second-floor condo. Dick is fortunate enough to be able to walk the golf course in the summer and ski the snow in the winter!"
