Congratulations to my good friend Kathleen Rose, who just got engaged. Kathy's fiancee, Mason Hart, proposed over the Christmas holidays, and surprised Kathy by hiding the ring in a Jack-In-The-Box toy. The pair met while working at Technomedia International Inc. in Houston, Texas.

I also extend congratulations to Michele (Bourgoin) Leddy, who joined Source Marketing in Westport, Connecticut, as an account director last October. Michele had previously worked for BBDO Worldwide as an account supervisor on the VISA-USA account and for the Kaplan-Thaler Group as an account executive on the Clairol Herbal Essence account.

So, that's it for now. Were you hankering for a bigger, longer column? Well, to be perfectly honest, all of you came this close to searching for a nonexistent column in this issue. Lucky for you '96s, I actually did have the above to share with all of you. Now that you have seen the effects of your collective silence, won't you drop me a line?
