David R. Brown has been appointed president of The Oxbow School, in Napa, California. Prior to joining Oxbow his consulting practice focused on strategic planning, governance, marketing and communications for schools, colleges, universities and other nonprofit organizations. From 1985 to 1999 he was president and CEO of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Dave earned an M.A. in English from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut. He is currently president of the board of trustees of Westridge School in Pasadena, a trustee-at-large of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design, and past national president of the American Institute of Graphic Arts in New York. Dave and wife Judith Lee reside in Pasadena.

Jack Ferraro of Park City, Utah, remains active in board service, including the Hackley School (Tarrytown, New York), Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and the Park City-based National Ability Center. He proudly announces that the Hackley School made him an honorary alumnus; he was previously awarded the school's medal of honor in 2000. Also, he has joined the board of the Beijing Med-Pharm Corp. Jack reports seeing Tom and Lily Grove in Park City. Tom retired as a pilot for Delta Airlines. Jack expects to join Tom playing lots of golf.

Ralph J. Kirmser of Wilton, Connecticut, received the Outstanding Physician Teaching Award from the Norwalk Hospital. Acardiologist, Ralph received his M.D. from Yale in 1971. Since 1978 he has lived in Wilton with wife Sally raising three children.

Jerry Zaks will be recognized with an award by The Genesius Theatre Guild in Manhattan at the ninth annual Genie Awards. Details to follow as they become available.
