Class of 2 000 baby news! Emily (Cullen) and Jolyon Rivoir-Pruszinski wrote in to tell us that they have welcomed a daughter in to their lives! Kyra Noelle was born on January 19 and weighed 9 pounds. "We've gotten to see lots of friends from school since she was born since lots of people live in the Hanover area. Kyra is such a blessing. She's already smiling and very expressive. No words, just coos, but we love to listen to her talk. We look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion next year."
Jenny (Gateno) Chana Mason wrote in to update the class on her February marriage to David Mason. "We are living in Jerusalem where I am studying Hebrew and Torah. I go mostly by my Hebrew name, Chana, which explains the title of our Web site: www.daveandchana.com. People can see photos from the wedding and engagement party as well as send us notes.
Domingo Martinez is still in Washington, D.C., working at the AFL-CIO in the political department. "It's great, but I am very busy. One weekend Working Miura was in town so she, Janice Ryan and I met up. I play phone tag with Sarah Harris, who's here for law school and run into Casey Sixkiller every now and then."
Suzi Kandel and Sarah Burgamy are busy working on the next all-class reunion for the Dartmouth Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Alumni/Association, which will be held in Hanover the weekend of October 1-3. Activities include a welcome reception with President James Wright, panel discussions with students, faculty, administrators and a trustee, an awards dinner featuring Massachusetts marriage case lead plaintiff Hillary Smith Goodridge '78, a ceremony of remembrance and a farewell brunch. Lori McMullen married Lee Morlock (McGill '01) on Saturday, March 27, at the Lenox Hotel in Boston. They will both graduate from Harvard Law School in June and are then moving to Chica go
Marcos Levia writes in that, 'After a lifetime of being a bad athlete I finally found my sport. I ran the City of Los Angeles Marathon on March 7 with a time of 6:08:22.1 would like to make a special thank you to Sarah Gerry, Roy Lee and Tracey Deer. Sarah is in Uzbekistan with the Peace Corps. She will be back in Los Angeles by the summer. I was also thrilled to attend Allison Aab's birthday party on January 2 in New York. There was a huge '00 turnout."
I had the honor of attending the beautiful, snowy wedding of William Campbell Coyne and Lauren Tulp in March atop Keystone Mountain in Colorado. Despite high winds that nearly stopped the gondolas, Will and Lauren had a fantastic weekend, spending time with many family members and Dartmouth friends. Lucas Braun and Jules Kesner "toasted" the bride and groom with stories from our college days, while the newly engaged Ben Rifkin made his mark on the NASTAR course. We had a great time celebrating, Will and Lauren, but many are still wondering, where's the oxygen man?
Lastly, a reminder (one of many to come) that our five-year reunion is only a year away! Mark your calendars for June 17-19,2005, when we can all meet on the Hanover Plain for a weekend of fun, friends and a few frothy beverages. Lastly, a message from our class treasurer: Please take a moment and pay your class dues at our refreshed class Web site: www.dartmouth.org/classes/ classoo/.
