Greetings, class of 2004! Hope you all are doing well! I didn't hear from too many of you this month, so please keep your updates headed my way!
Despite the shortage of updates, our class has definitely been busy getting engaged and married! J'aime Jones and Adam Ogusky were engaged on the Dartmouth Green in June. They are both working at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire for the summer, and moving to Ecuador in September with the hopes of finding new adventures and gainful employment. Next, Matthew Kenney got engaged to Megan Riley '03 on July 4 at the end of the fireworks display in Washington, D.C. And, finally, Suzanne Larimore and Dan Wahl were married in Ann Arbor on July 30. Dan is a second-year med student at the University of Michigan where he's an M.D./Ph.D. student. Suzanne is in her second year of law school at the University of Michigan. At the wedding were: Christie Keifer (maid of honor), Dean Jim Larimore (uncle of the bride), Assistant Dean of First Year Students Colleen Larimore '85 (aunt of the bride), Laura Duncan '01 (cousin of the bride), Abiel Acosta, Scott Duncan, Seth Goldman, Charley Light, Davidid Hoftiezer, Evan Lapinsky, Colin Murray, Bruun Roystdun, Julian Saltman, Dave Turnbull, Jon Webster (who did a reading at the wedding), Zach Rubeo '05, Nan Wang 'O6, Justin Martin 'O3, Tim Sullivan '05, Carl Gieringer '03, Amanda Behm, Catherine Dale, Christine Devane, Tory Tompkins, Susan Napier, Annie Snider, Joanne Sprague, Caryl Barnet '03 and Rob Bialas. Congratulations to all the aforementioned couples!!
On the working front, James Lamb wrote in that he is pleased to announce he has moved up to a bigger cube at work in Boston. CrosbyHaynes has moved to Boston and begun a job with Brown Brothers Harriman. Erik Dambach finished his masters of engineering management degree at Thayer in June, and headed to southern California, where he is working as a systems engineering intern at Northrop Grumman Space Technology. On Thursdays he and Kristian Lau get together to work on their beach volleyball skills.
And, finally, for the last update, I highly recommend checking out Katie Greenwoods blog at http://geographyfieldwork.blogspot.com. Katie is in Malawi working with farmers' clubs and primary schools to develop sustainable agriculture initiatives that will generate income and improve people's nutritional status.
That's it for this update. Keep sending me your news!
