I've loved writing Class Notes and being class secretary, but it's time to pass the torch. The job description is pretty simple: Encourage people to write in with their news, then write a column every other month. You also have the opportunity to go to Class Officers Weekend in Hanover once a year, help out with class activities and run for a seat on the Alumni Magazine board. Please e-mail me if you're interested or have any questions. I'd like to step down by the end of this year. Thanks for the opportunity to track both the ups and downs of our class. Our classmates are changing the world, in both well-publicized and quiet ways.

Speaking of up times, I'd like to announce some wonderful news of my own. David Zipkin and I were engaged at about 6:45 in the morning Tuesday, April 26. We were out for a run around Fresh Pond in Cambridge, Massachusetts, when he proposed. We're planning a spring 2006 wedding.

Jon Aljancic is a dad for the second time. He and his wife, Courtny, had their second boy, Will Anthony, on January 8. He joined big brother Ryan Matthew, age 2. "Everyone's doing great, although a good night's sleep has been few and far between!" Jon says.

Please continue to write to me while we search for our next class secretary. Maybe you?
