I have not heard from any of you as to whether or not you can attend our 71st minireunion in September but perhaps you have written Gerry Day, who is in charge. If you haven't already done so, please write Gerry at her new home—18 West Road, Orleans, MA 02653. Our 71st will be the weekend of the Colgate game, September 16 and 17. Geriy has arranged for all activities to be at the Hanover Inn and will include dinners both Friday and Saturday nights as well as our class meeting and lunch on Saturday morning.

We received an article published in the Lincoln County News and sent to me by Bill Judd. It had to do with the death of Flora Millicent Emerson, wife of our classmate Bill, who passed away in 1997. She was an accomplished pianist and provided accompaniment for choral and orchestral groups. As a juried artist, her paintings depicting coastlines and open spaces in southern California are part of permanent collections in several California art museums.

To those of you who have inquired about the health of my wife, Nina, who had a stroke two years ago—she is coming along, progress has been slow, still on a walker and at times in a wheelchair, can dress herself get breakfast, can't go on trips and will miss our 71st.

Reports on our football team are pretty good. A lot of enthusiasm.

We regret to advise about the deaths of our classmates, Bob Webb and Stan Silverman. Our sympathies to their families.
