If you tried to reach me, I've just returned from a week in Bermuda and tomorrow will hop over to Dubrovnik for 10 days. ' I haven't a lot of news but did try to contact some of your past leaders. Jud Hannigan says he's slowed down a bit but still holding forth at Kittery Point, Maine. Buol Hinmam, braving a little surgery, but preparing to be off to Venice, Florida in October—and missing our mini-reunion. "Hank" Kruschwitz had called inquiring how late he could sign up for the mini. No cut-off date. You can come for the 18th, 19th or 20th, or all three. And Hank will be there. Had written about Bert Ibelle in the last column, how I couldn't get him on the phone. So he called me and we chatted about our days in Richardson in 42 and our experiences in Italy somewhat later.

Gus Gillaugh (previously I reported his marriage) is still in Dayton, Ohio, and as I told you looking for bequests to the College. Re: the College: I'm sure you've all been receiving the mail voicing different opinions about the role of alumni, elections, etc. I have some strong opinion but dare not print them. But if all this correspondence moves you, one way or another, I suggest you let the College know your feelings. Also, I've found some of you have moved and have new phone numbers. Could you please pass on the new info to the College? Thank you.

Our Alumni Fund goal was $125,000. We ran over a bit—to $185,007! All hail Tom Adams and his many agents. And thanks to all of you!

With sadness I must report the deaths of several of our classmates: Donald C. Foukal on February 9; Robert D. Ellis on January 1, 2006; John D. Condit on June 1; Warren D. Kealey on May 12; Joseph P. Monigle on April 24; and Carl F. Peterson on May 23.
