As I write, a few days before Christmas 2006, it is difficult to realize that by the time you read this we will be well into the year 2007. I hope you all had some joy over the holidays and are ready for the challenges of the year ahead.

Ray Builter informs me that the class of 1936 designated scholar for this year is Jonathan F. Thiller '09 of Mason City, lowa. I hope we will have more information about him for the next issue of Tithe.

I had a very informative Green Card from Walt Mosenthal. He says, "My wife, Marion, and I now live in a nursing home in Chatham, Massachusetts. I am recovering from a hip replacement and 11 years of Parkinsons disease. Marion had a slight stroke." He says they love to get messages and would love to get your calls.
