This column is being written in the waning days of 2006, for publication with the March- April magazine and in great anticipation of our 45th reunion June 11-14. It wiH be a fantastic get-together. There will be lots of chances to renew and reacquaint. If you haven't signed on already, do it today!

Gordy and Virginia Williams wrote recently from the Hanover environs where they care for two mares and many other interests. Gordy has decided that retirement, while good in many ways, has its limits.Awhile back Gordy took and passed the New Hampshire bar examinations and resumed the practice of law.

Ed Goldstein writes, "I've stayed connected to D through daughter Elizabeth's ('94) four years in Hanover as well as through frequent happy—sometimes sad—times with Jeff Rush, Steve Rotter, Eliot Prager, Bob Goodman, Steve Roth, Carl Funke and others. These friendships just keep going...indeed keep getting stronger. I have also become very lucky, finding a new career about five years ago after retiring with 31 years of IBM under my belt. Now I am VP for marketing and sales for a start-up in the golf industry. We provide software to organizations such as the PGA TOUR, PGA of America, several mini-tours as well as top amateur and junior golf organizations across North America. It's really a great formula for enjoying this stage of my life because it allows me to use my sales/marketing background with some technology and a love for the game of golf into a second career. It has taken up more time than I expected, but it still leaves time to enjoy golf and travel with Ronna."

Ed Peterson writes that he is "99 percent retired; still have a few clients with some group health insurance. Sharon and I have been doing some traveling: Russia in 2004, Ireland and Scotland in 2005, and planning a trip to Portugal and Spain next spring. We do a great deal of sailing and during the six or seven months of summer we do some serious lap swimming in the Plantation (Hilton Head) pool." Ed and Sharon flew to Newport Beach, California, and visited with John Miller and his wife, Nancy, and relived good times from years before, including being suite mates in Brown Hall freshman year.

Basil Condos reports that "I've been living in Asia for the last couple of years but am spending the summer at Lake Chapala, Mexico, where a congenial group of Americans (mostly seniors) have homes. There is an excellent community center with a 35,000-volume English language library. Basil concludes enigmatically, "less is more sometimes," but that's not so for reunion. The more, the better. We hope to see you in Hanover soon.
