Would you agree that the best movies are those that are quoted for years and years? Consider Animal House, Stripes and Caddyshack—all classics and quoted everyday. Underrated but truly worthy of inclusion would be, of course, Ferris Bueller'sDay Off. Does anyone have news? Anyone? Anyone?

Well, similar to hearing from my friend's sister's boyfriend who knows a girl who saw a guy that has news, I do have an update about Charlotte Hart. I got an e-mail from Leslie Dahl, who didn't get a note from either Anita or Deb, but did get a note from Kathy Reilly Gross with an update about Charlotte. Charlotte, who likely had no idea her name was flying through cyberspace, is living in New York and Rowayton, Connecticut, with her husband, Tim Massad, and their two children, Emil (31/2) and Jayne (newborn). They met when Charlotte was practicing law in Hong Kong and got married in Minneapolis.

Thanks to Valerie Hartman Levy for this next piece of news. Congratulations to Todd and Jackie Cranford on the birth of their son Sean Ellington Cranford, born March 12, weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 19 inches in length. The early odds of Sean being a class officer for the class of 2039 are 6:1. In keeping with Ferris Bueller tradition, Valerie actually sent it to Leslie, who sent it to me, who wrote it for you.

I'm thinking the title on an e-mail I recently received was fairly comprehensive. See if you agree. Here is the title: "Veteran litigator and longtime pro bono advocate Susan M. Finegan rejoins Mintz Levin to head pro bono program." If someone asks you, "Hey, do you know what Sue Finegan is up to?" you now have a summary. But if you're playing Sue Finegan Jeopardy, you may also want to know that Sue most recendy served as the legal director for the Victim Rights Law Center, overseeing the provision of civil legal services for more than 300 low-income survivors of sexual assault on issues ranging from housing, safety, financial compensation, immigration, education, privacy and employment. Or that she worked as a litigator at Mintz Levin from 1993 to 2004. If Sue Finegan for $BOO states: "This law school counts Sue Finegan among their cum laude graduates," you could answer Boston College Law School. But, of course, you would be wrong, since you would have to answer, "What is Boston College Law School?" I have no idea what the Audio Daily Double would be for Sue.

The Abe Frohman of fantasy basketball, Eric Wilinski, finished a distant second in the 10th season of our Cold Beer league, a mere half point ahead of me. My disappointment in finishing third was tempered by the fifth-place finish of Barry Bass and seventh-place finish of Chris Gagnon. The Principal Rooney Award goes jointly to Mikey Lehman and Hubes Smith, who waged a tenacious battle to finish, tied for dead last, a scampi points behind the winner.

Maybe a future column will reference quotes from one of Dave Story's movies. And in a quirky twist, did you know Dave was on Jeopardy last year? And you thought there was no linkage to this column.
