Rip telephoned Art Nighswander at Kendal recently and found him in good spirits, looking forward to his 100 th birthday in November. Rip, the only other classmate, having celebrated his 101st last May.

There are many widows on our class list, some with addresses and some without. However, none keep in touch and they may not feel the need to, even though their news may be of interest to nearby classes as well.

Our TV was a constant source of entertaiment during the Olympics. We chose our programs carefully and thoroughly enjoyed them: The diving, water sports in general and gymnastics were of special interest, as I have two granddaughters who gave up gymnastics just short of Olympic level.

This fall has started out well both weatherwise-and health wise—and we are looking forward to some excitement and healing in both political camps.
