Brian Maher retired from his position of assistant treasurer at ExxonMobil's Dallas headquarters in 2006 after 33 years and 11 moves (including assignments in El Salvador, Chile, Toronto and Rome). Based in Dallas with wife Shelley, he is busy with frequent travel, tennis and golf and some financial advisory and nonprofit work. They hope to get to Hanover more often in the future.

"A.T." Tshibaka has retired to Virginia with wife "P.T." after a 36-year banking career. Being near to son Niki and his wife will permit frequent visits to them and their two children. They also intend to devote significant time and energy to Opportunity International, a Christian microfinance organization providing holistic services in approximately 28 emerging markets.
Gilbert Douglas and wife Joan celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in November 2007. Looking for a new challenge after retiring from the law in 2004, and to celebrate, they remodeled a 1917-vintage Craftsmanstyled house on their 20 Texas acres and equipped it to serve as a bakery and tea room (Texas Specialtea Shoppe), where they offer fresh-baked pastries and fresh-ground coffee and specialty teas. Their daughters are both attending University of Texas-Austin.
WDCR held a 50th anniversary dinner during reunion week. Stu Zuckerman reports that I "missed quite an evening. We had about 35 DCR alums from class of'68 thru '78, with most of the attendees being from '69-72. Class of 1970 was represented by Paul Gambaccini, Dave Graves, Dwight Macomber and me.
"In addition to the great camaraderie of people who had a wonderful shared experience, the highlight of the evening was the fact that Mrs. H. (who turns 90 in two weeks) was there."
