Right to the news: Tom Gamer reported that he has lived in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, for 12 years and has been married to Laura Woolman for 18 years. They have two boys Jackson (11) and Ryan (9). Tom is a senior therapeutic sales consultant for Pfizer. He calls on all the major institutions in downtown Boston for orthopedics, rheumatology and pain. He has worked closely with the team doctors for the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. Laura is an associate professor at Harvard doing research at the Harvard Dental School.

The Gamer/Woolman family also recently saw Mich Poulin and Rusty Gardner (who have been married for 19 years!) They met in Boston and did the Freedom Trail with both familiesRusty and Mich have three kids. The couples are godparents to each other's kids.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Davey recently coedited a book titled Remember My Sacrifice:The Autobiography of Clinton Clark, Tenant FarmOrganizer and Early Civil Rights Activist. She worked with the nephew of Clinton Clark, a courageous African American labor and civil rights organizer, to bring Clark's previously unknown autobiography Remember My Sacrifice into print.

By the time you read this Christine Wichers will be nearly halfway through her term as president of the board of trustees of the Women's Bar Foundation of Massachusetts. She was named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in 2006 and 2007 and was among the Massachusetts Rising Stars in 2005. She is a partner in Choate, Hall & Stewart's labor, employment and benefits group.

Ward Watson has remained in the Upper Valley since graduation. He managed Cafe Buon Gustaio (now closed) on Main Street in Hanover and worked as a tour guide for the now defunct Catamount Brewery. He is currently the manager of the Norwich Inn in Vermont, where he lives with his wife and 2-year-old daughter and would love to see '87s come visit! John Jakiemiec has lived in San Rafael, California, for 15 years. He is married with three kids (11, 8 and 6). He has worked in the employee benefits/insurance business since graduation and has owned an employee benefits brokerage firm for eight years. He also coaches a youth travel baseball team, Bombers Baseball Club, the seventh-ranked team in northern California. He is fortunate to see David and Diane Gabianelli quite often.

H. "Randy" Morgan passed on news from Devon Davis, who spent a good part of 2007 and 2008 on crutches with ankle problems. She has worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as a civilian emergency physician for about three years. When she moved to D.C. she got involved in competitive ballroom dancing, which is what did her ankle in. She still keeps in touch with Austin Wiehe, who works for the Treasury Department. Austin and his wife, Barb, are on temporary assignment in Abu Dhabi. Austin keeps in touch with Dave Wachen, his roommate at Dartmouth. (See what lengths we go to for news—H. reports on Devon, who reports on Austin, who reports on Dave!)

Carl "Trey" Gum has lived in Dallas for five years. He is general counsel to NTR Metals, a precious metals company in Dallas. He is married to Patricia. They have four girls and are in process of adopting two orphaned boys from Russia.

Mark your calendars for a Hanover '87 mini-reunion during Homecoming Weekend, October 17-18; tentative plans include a preparade dinner and marching in the parade itself. Watch the class Web site for updates or contact Laura Gasser (lgx@cpuc.ca.gov) or Christen O'Connor (christen.m.o'connor.87@ alum.dartmouth.org) for more info.
