What fun it is to have a large amount of news to share!

Jane Lonnquist catches us up on "a great '88 reunion held last summer at Pam Codispoti's wedding to a fabulous man from Australia, Mark Habner. Shea (Harden) Naparano was the beautiful and highly organized maid of-honor, leaving her two kids in California so she could enjoy the New York occasion. Tricia Grant and Dudley King came from Atlanta, where Dudley runs a computer consulting firm and Tricia runs around town with their four kids, among other things. Kate Kellogg, now mother of two boys and an associate professor of organizational behavior at MlT's Sloan School, reportedly changed out of her bridesmaid's dress after dinner so that she could more freely bust her moves on the dance floor. Beth (Hofmann) Blumenthal lives in Connecticut with her husband and two boys and runs the handbag division at Nine West. Julie (Pelkan) Glusker came from Park City, Utah, where she works for an educational software company, raises sporty girls and gets to ski more often than I do. Dr. Cynthia (Strand) Braun, a pediatrician and mother of two, had to travel only 20 minutes to the wedding, having recently moved from California to Westchester County, New York. Charlie Wheelan and Leah (Yegian) Wheelan, parents of three kids, were on their way home from Hanover, where Charlie teaches economics in the summer, to Chicago, where Leah has started another business venture, promoting international understanding through toys. (Unpaid endorsement: My 7-year-old daughter told me that the kimono I bought her from www.little-bridges.com was the best gift she had received in her whole life!). Kristen Steck is still 'the Lorax' of the petro-chemical industry, now working in San Francisco and living the high life in the Marina district. Sean Hogan, who beat us all during the Saturday morning fun run, is working for IBM in White Plains, New York, and lives in Connecticut with his wife and three children. In an Australian wedding tradition, absent guests sent telegrams that were read at the reception. Catherine (Craighead) Briggs wrote from Africa, where she and her Dartmouth husband and two boys were spending a sabbatical on safari. Susie (Belgrad) Hayes wrote from Germany, where she was working for several years as a Bavarian barmaid before returning with her family this spring to Boulder, Colorado. I flew in from Minneapolis with my Dartmouth '86 husband, John Lonnquist, to enjoy the good company and happy occasion. Congratulations, Pam and Mark!"

Then Laura "Stinger" Welles Wilson tells us about her current reality (one which many of us can relate to I bet): "My husband, Tim Werdmann, and I live with our two children Sarah (6) and Ben (4) in an 1830s farmhouse in Terrace Park, Ohio, an eastern suburb of Cincinnati, where we both grew up. Life is good. Having played and coached soccer for years, we are currently learning all about U8 recreational Softball and instructional T-ball with our active kids. While I have resisted buying a minivan, the carpool/kid-activity shuttle service is clearly about to begin. I'm hoping to get back to Hanover for our 20th (has it been that long?) and introduce our children to the wonders of New Hampshire. I stay in touch with all the tattooed ladies, Sue (Marshall) Abraham, Jen (Wertz) Houlihan, Kate (Benedict) MacGregor and Chris (Perry) Katz. I expect they, too, will be at reunion next year so we can spend quality time laughing about our misspent youth."
