A recent issue of the Boston & Maine Employees magazine carried a picture of Ned French accepting the gift of an old time'water can from veteran conductor Charles Carroll. In his presentation speech Mr. Carroll intimated that while Ned might not know what a water can would be good for now, back in 1896 he earned his daily bread by carrying one through the train passing out drinks to the passengers. And, said Carroll, if I remember correctly, you used to keep your glasses fairly clean.

One of the first to respond to my request for personal information was Bob Blood. Bob has evidently joined a movement for simplified spelling for I am still trying to decipher his letter. But it was most welcome and most interesting. Having a son in the senior class and one in the freshman means that Bob and Olive will be commuting to Hanover for a long time to come. Together with Margaret and Bill Bell they attended the St. Lawrence game.

Mr. and Mrs. Brack Hazen were in Hanover in September for the purpose of entering Freeman Brackett Jr. in the freshman class.

Barbara Chidley, whose father recently celebrated his 25th anniversary as pastor of the First Congregational Church in Winchester, Mass., was married to Jonathan N. Mitchell of Middletown, Ohio, at Intervale, N. H. on September 4th.

Warner White is now located at New Paltz, N. Y. and would be more than glad to have any 'o6er stop to see him if in the neighborhood.

Happy Wayman is now located at 4315 Yupon Drive, Houston, Texas and will be glad to discuss investments with anyone.

Gene Smith has transferred his affections from the Nation's Capitol to Philadelphia and can be found at 2000 Lincoln-Liberty Building.

One of these days we will be hearing that the next Senator from Nevada is none other than- our own Clyde Souter. While he didn't get the nomination in this year's primary, the next time it will be different.

Ralph Scott is now practising law in Tallahassee, Florida at Call and Bronough Streets. His home address is Route No. 3, Box 145, Tallahassee.

Daniel Ransom has recently been given charge of the CCC Camp at Weston, Vt. His home address is Danby, Vt.

Probably no one in our class has put his college training to better use than our President. As you will remember Nat was almost continually absent from College "peerading." I don't believe even Nat can remember how many times Chuck warned him that "A rolling stone gathers no moss." Well he is still "rolling" so much so that I understand that Martha has had a record made and installed at the front door which says "Hello Nat—Goodby Nat." I haven't a full list of his recent speaking engagements but a few of them are as follows: Address to the Association of Commerce, St. Louis; The Kiwanis International Convention at Minneapolis; Armour Institute of Technology, Chicago; etc., etc. The subject of his address at Armour Institute was certainly one of which he had no first hand knowledge namely—"Hard Work."

Am informed that Leila and Francis have almost completed the building of a new home in Hanover. Must be that they are getting ready for next year's reunion.
