IT'S ALWAYS A BIG SUCCESS! and this year's Undergraduate Luncheon was no exception to the rule! It certainly is great to get together with the undergraduates at this annual event and get first hand information about the doings at Hanover. Joe Huber '40 was responsible for this fine party. In addition to the boys from College, we were fortunate to have with us a large number of their fathers and also quite a few boys who hope to enter the College next fall.
Following the singing of "Eleazar Wheelock," President Fred Pearce '15 made his address of welcome and then the undergrads and guests were introduced. In accordance with our regular custom, we had a representative from each of the classes give a talk. This year two of our speakers were sons of Dartmouth men who are members of our association Hugh Morris who spoke for the class of '45, son of George Morris '11 and Richard Paul, speaker for the class of '44, son of Stu Paul '16. Frank Slingliff handled the assignment for the juniors and Oliver Qualye, III spoke as a member of the senior class. The meeting adjourned with the singing of "Men of Dartmouth."
