The last of April Randall Cooke was honored by fellow officers of the Home National Bank, Whitman, Mass., on his retirement after forty years as a banker. He was presented with a gold wrist watch as a permanent reminder of their affection and good wishes.

After graduation he taught for awhile, then went into the coal and grain business with his father, and in 1915 joined the staff of the Whitman National Bank.

Randall has the unique distinction of having been born in the same house in which he now lives. He has always been active in civic affairs, and served for many years as treasurer of the Rogers Home. Another of his distinctions is that he has served fourteen three-year terms, a total of 42 years, as trustee of the Whitman Public Library. On the athletic side he is a billiard player of considerable skill.

Had the pleasure of spending a few days in Nantucket this summer and was royally welcomed by Warner White. Anyone visiting the island should get in touch with him as he knows all there is to know about that interesting village.

On June 5 Mabel and Norm Bankart celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. Congratulations!

Eric Kelly has retired to the wilds of Chebeague Island, Maine, to write a book on '"Maine Islands."

One of the rewarding pleasures of the Class Agent's work is the gifts and welcome letters from the loyal 1906 widows. They are a grand group and we are looking forward to having many of them with us in Hanover in lune 1956.

Has anyone seen or heard from our wandering Max? He is supposed to be back in this country but have had no official notice. His permanent address is 7005 Fairland St., Alexandria, Va.

At the 1900-1908 dinner in Boston in May there were eight 1906 men present. FrancisChilds gave an excellent talk on the Tucker Foundation. Those present were Chapin, Childs, Connell, Cooke, Denison, Frazier, Powers and Russell.

The first of May Art Chapin became a grandfather for the seventh time. The last report from Catherine states that Art is bearing up very well.

Kid Gleason reports that the old ship is dragging anchor but he is still able to get his share of coffee and beans.

The following comprise the committee for our Fiftieth Reunion: Thurlow Gordon, chairman; Art Chapin, vice chairman; Francis Childs, Hal Edgerton, Don Mclntyre, Walt Powers, Ned Redman and Norm Russell. Any suggestions about the program will be most welcome.
