Heard about the Dartmouth get-together Cincinnati had over Easter week when the Glee Club was out that way. A real good old blast. Incidentally, Bill is very active in Dartmouth affairs in Cincinnati being on their committtees."
The 1948 Alumni Fund campaign is well underway by now as you know. Bob Allen is at work getting out newsletters and NickSandoe, our new Class Agent, is busy planning his strategy so that 1945 can come out on top. I think this, too, is a year in which we should strive for the highest possible number of contributors rather than the most contributions. It would be a great credit to the Class of 1945 if all of us would answer the pleas of Bob and Nick, whether the answer be accompanied by one dollar or ten dollars.

"As for myself, I finally finished up in February and am now living at home. Still single and like it. I recently started work for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Export Cos. in their Far Eastern Division and am very happy with the work. It will eventually mean working abroad, and this is just what I've been shooting for."

By the time you receive this issue, I will have completed one year as your secretary.I am not overly proud of what I have been able to accomplish during this year, but we have had a column appear here every month and the copy for that column has arrived in Hanover well in advance of the deadline every month. I have enjoyed the year very much. I am hoping that I will enjoy the next year even more, and you can enjoy it too if more of you would see fit to let us know where you are and what you are doing.
Before the October issue reaches you I will be living in Detroit, having recently been notified by my company that I am to begin work in the Detroit office about July 1. And so, if in the meantime you wish to drop me a line, you might address me at 2160 National Bank Building there.
Here's wishing you all a wonderful summer.
ALUMNI LUNCHEON SPEAKER: George F. Barr '45, head of the Undergraduate Council this year, will be a speaker at the commencement event, June 12.
