The bulletin from Hanover says, "Notes are due soon, so get at it!" So here I am back at my pleasant job trying to please you guys who by now are spread all over the map, especially with Korea popping up at the wrong time. Maybe some o£ the class are on their way back to that territory. I know of many who were there only three short years ago.
As I sit here I have but two days left of that wonderful term of life called bachelorhood. But I'm not too upset about the end of that term, and besides Pat is sitting across the room so I have to say that. But on Wednesday I'm to be a netted guy, so all anniversary presents from the class should be dated August 30. We had planned a late September hitching but my military status is in doubt, so we pushed it up. Those of the class who are to be guests are Summy Arneson, Art Wallace, Johnny Sweetland, Herb Gramstorff and Terry Maphis, and several others couldn't make it due to the middle of the weekedness. After a short and inexpensive (I hope) honeymoon, we'll live at 166 Pawtucket Avenue, Pawtucket, R. I.

Went down to a New York dance the weekend of June 2 and en route drove alongside Jay Haft on the Westchester Parkway. The thousands of other cars and lack of parking space prohibited any more than a rather brief hello. The same weekend I met Bud Hughes and Jack Everatt eating dinner and chasing dames in a joint across from the Biltmore. Bud was working for his dad and Jack was looking for a job, after leaving sunny Florida. Also called up Bill Ballard and met his charming fiancee Naomi Parker. They are to be married October 28. Bill is writing a soap opera for a big New York station and making millions. Listeners have told me his show is good, too. That's unusual for soap operas.

That's about it for this time. Lots of dope about lots of guys. You will remember that my aim for the year is to get every one of your names into my column. I didn't miss many last year, but those I did miss are to blame themselves. The only way I can write about them is by itemizing all those I haven't any news about, but that's silly. So how about it.... get off a quickie to me, and you too can see your name in big black letters. 'Til next month, then, or unless I see you at the Harvard game, October 28, so long
