LUNCHEON EVERY MONDAY NOONUNIVERSITY CLUB
More than 100 men attended the luncheon for the Class of 1955 at the University Club on September 17. Of the 29 entering fresh- men from this area, 27 were present with 22 of their fathers. Twelve undergraduates and 43 alumni were also present. At the head table were C. L. Hardy '27, president of the General Association of Alumni, K. M. Henderson '16, Chairman of the Alumni Fund Committee, and J. A. Stanley '33, President of the Dartmouth Alumni Council. The speakers were Robert C. Borwell '25, the father of an entering freshman, and George A. Wrisley, a Dartmouth father and a member of the Parents Committee of the Alumni Fund. Borwell's talk was a moving address in the form of the first letter of a father to his son at college.
The Association officers recently decided to continue to meet weekly at the University Club instead of finding a more centrally located and inexpensive meeting place.
