Reunion is rapidly approaching, more defi- nite dope is in the offing, but the important thing for you to do now is set aside June 22, 23 and 24 and plan to make the trek back to the plains.

Things in Chapel Hill have definitely taken on the appearance of late Spring. We've had plenty of chance to "hit the links" and our only regret is that the small matter of a thesis keeps us from spending more time at our favorite sport.

By the way, if any of you need a couple of good city planners, don't hesitate to let me know. I can salt down a couple that can be had, practically for the asking. Hope I'm not establishing a precedent by using the column for a "want-ad."

John Rankin has been transferred to Trenton, N. J., with IBM and will be leaving Rye, N. Y„ as soon as possible. Jack Sayers and wife Amona are leaving for Washington where he has been transferred by the Corning Fibre Glass Corp. from New York. Charlie Ferrin, who works as a geologist for the Stanolind Oil and Gas Cos., has been moved from Amarillo, Tex., to Casper, Wyo.

Now for the Society Section!

Bob Bogart was married to Sally Straw in Manchester, N. H„ on January 21. Dick Nylen was an usher. "Gib" and Sally will live in Toledo, Ohio.

Ted Southworth and Beverly Charlotte Anderson of Springfield, Mass., were married on January 24 in Waterbury, L. I., N. Y.

DeWitt Baker took Marybob Willson as his bride in January in New York City.

Lt. Jim Peters (USNR) and Wanda Clevenger of Dayton, Ohio were also married on January 20.

The following couples have made their intentions known:

John Kibbe and June Elaine Prescott of Waterbury, Vt.

Don McNally and Jacqueline Adams of Chicago

Ill., set February 3 as their wedding day but I have received no announcement. Dr. John Murray and Theresa Curley of Roxbury, Mass., were also to be married on February 3, but as yet no definite word on them either. John is a graduate of Tufts Dental School.

Ted Walter and Edna Jean Grant of Atlanta, Ga., announced their engagement the end of January. Ted has an M.A. from Columbia and taught Eccy at Oglethorpe University for two years. He is now associated with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

There's no other news, so I'll see you next month. Drop me a line with any ideas you might have about Reunion and don't forget to plan to be with us June 22, 23 and 24.
