Attendance at the Monday lunches in the Realtors Club continues to rise; and it is clear that a ceiling has been reached. Inevitable new problem is to find an acceptable "home" large enough to accommodate this growing interest.
November's crop of hoped-for visitors will begin on November 6 when EddieChamberlain, Admissions chief, arrives for meetings. Lunch at Carson-Pirie's Highland Room is expected to pull a sizable crowd. For that same evening Don Williamson '42, the Association's new Enrollment Committee Chairman, has set up a dinner at the Union League Club, for his newly-organized team to get Chamberlain's counsel and inspiration.
Don Williamson's job heading Enrollment activities is our "news of the month." It started with Henry Parker's '26 call for volunteers, published in the previous issue of HILL WINDS. Don immediately called Tom Rowe '50, Scholarship Fund Chairman, and Tom signed him up. Don has taken hold with enthusiasm and thoroughness that give assurance of a fine job well begun.
Look for a good crop of good applicants from this area, come September '62.
