A few weddings and engagements seem to be the only news this month, aside from the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Macfarlan and Dick Leary were visitors at the Hanover Inn during February. Dick is living in Hingham, Mass., on Park View Drive and is a salesman for Electrical Agencies, Inc. His wife is the former Alice McWeeny and they have two children, Stephen and Robert. The Macfarlan's home is in Glen Rock, N. J., where Mac is assistant Manager for the Prudential Insurance Company of America.
Married on January 13 in Forest Hills, N. Y., were the former Miss Marilyn Roberta Fox and Jake Gleber. Jake is Maintenance engineer for Bethlehem Steel Company in Baltimore, Md., where it is presumed the couple will reside.
Larry Denton was married in Rye, N. Y., on February 3 to Mary Jane Gray. Larry is working with Naumkeag Steam Cotton Cos. and living in Marblehead, Mass.
New Britain, Conn., was the scene of the wedding on February 11 of the former Miss Laurel Kaplan to George Swaye.
Joe Flounders has recently become engaged to Miss Lila May Walkden. Joe is a former chairman of an interview committee for candidates for admission to Dartmouth, Secretary of the Philadelphia Alumni Club and a member of the Pennsylvania class regional committee He is presently doing sales work for Schuylkill Paper Cos. in Philadelphia. His bride-to-be received a M. A. degree from the School of Advanced International Studies, Washington and a Carnegie Endowment Grant for advanced study.
Announced on January 23 was the engagement of Miss Barbara Lovewell Grigg, a graduate of Middlebury College, and Jack Welsh. Jack, formerly with the General Electric Cos., is doing graduate work in history at Columbia University.
Milton Stone, newly engaged to Miss Shirley Marian Leven, has been recalled to the Marine Corps to join the 2d Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, N. C. Sarah Ann Wheeler, a senior at Sarah Lawrence College, is engaged to FredFrassinelli. Fred is secretary-treasurer of the E&F Construction Cos. founded by his father.
Ed and Sally Byrkit are the proud parents of George Harold Byrkit, born January 30, 1951. Ed, a design engineer for George S. Richardson of Pittsburgh, has recently been transferred to Philadelphia where a new office has been opened.
Ozzie Dorion is living in Calle, Guatemala. Ed Jacobs has been called to active duty in the Navy, FPO San Francisco.

George Howard's latest address is Glen Head, Long Island, N. Y., where George, wife Gloria, and two children reside. George was working with the First National Bank, but since he holds a reserve commission in the Marine Corps, we wonder if he is still in civilian status.
Joe Kurey was married in Brooklyn, N. Y., April 30, 1949, to the former Miss Stella Rita Powlow. Their latest address is 85-42 116th St., Richmond Hill 18, N. Y. Joe is a junior accountant for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Cos., accountants and auditors.

Dave Huntoon, when last heard from in September, 1949, was a salesman in training for G. H. Walker Cos., in the investment banking and brokerage business. At that time, Dave was a bachelor and living at 24 Keen St., Providence 6, R. I.
My wife was interested to notice that Carland Theda Kuniholm's wedding anniversary is the same day as ours, October 23, 1948. The Kuniholm's address is 235 Green St., Gardner, Mass., and Carl is office manager for Annett Box Company, makers of juvenile furniture.
