A fine letter from Norm Fink tells of a class dinner on April 20 at the Dartmouth Club of New York. As a result of considerable discussion, it was decided to make an all-out effort to organize the class in the Greater New York area. Such feeling has been present for some time.

This group decided to make a strong effort to assemble all the 1947s in this area into a group for social and business purposes. The names and telephone numbers of the New York executive committee follow: Fritz Alexander, WO2-1672; Ed Brophy, CO7-5044; NormFalkin, Ha2-6300 Ext. 378; Bob Snedaker, EX6-5100, Ext. 3596; Norm Falkin, MU5-7425.

This Committee requests anyone who is interested in seeing classmates he knows and meeting classmates he doesn't know, call any one of the committee members. The committee intends to set up a group, large or small, and to plan a program which will include dinners, picnics, parties, and whatever else might be of interest. Call the committee and let them know you are interested. They plan to print a roster in addition to these other activities. They must know of your interests and desires.

As you know, a meeting of your class executive committee was held in Hanover on May 7 in Baker Library. Unfortunately your Secretary was unable to attend. He has just moved to Danville, Ill., and is in the process of finding housing accommodations and getting established in the business of constructing a cellophane plant. The meeting results will be reported later. In the meantime, do not hesitate to write members of your class executive committee to suggest action you may wish taken or topics you think should be discussed.

He joined the company immediately following graduation from Dartmouth in 1947.
