The spring meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Springfield, Vt., was held on the evening of May 2 at the Hartness House, as has been the recent custom.

Many of the group arrived early enough to explore the subterranean passage, for which that hostelry is famous. At shortly after the established hour of 6:30, the crowd assembled for a turkey dinner in the best Hartness House tradition.

Following the dinner, Roger Brown '45 spoke to us on the subject of "Springtime in Hanover," in a remarkably complete coverage of all the news and doings in Hanover.

As a bit of added interest, Bob Burns '50 who had spent some time in Germany, told of conditions there and his feelings about the future relations of our two areas.

Those present included, from Claremont, Dr. Haubrich '23, Duncan Hunter '36 and Martin Brown '36. From Newport, N. H., Sid Rollins '04, Dr. Thorpe 'OB, John McCrillis '19, Ken Andler '26, Doc Monroe '27, Doc Roe '32, Dave Heald '42 and Dexter Richards '42. From Springfield, Henry Flinn '14, Ray Adams '19, Junior Bryant '25, Justin Bugbee '25, Maurice O'Leary '26, Andy Titcomb '36, Hartness Beardsley '37, Arthur King '38, Caleb Brown '48, Bob Burns '50, and Richard Hopkins of the no doubt illustrious class of 1955, together with his father, Cleon Hopkins.
