By those charged with the task of providing the additional funds needed to keep the College abreast in the fields of faculty salaries, student aid and physical plant, it is felt that an important forward step has been taken with the organization of the bequest program. We are a part of that program, as you know. As chairman of that activity for the class, Gene Hotchkiss put out his first mailing piece early this year. Responses to his questionnaire were such as to indicate that 1922 will take a significant place among the classes enrolled under the program. But too many failed to mail back the questionnaire. If you can find yours, why not fill it in and send it to Gene now? If you can't find it, just be sure to answer Gene's next communication which he plans to mail in December. Naturally, it is hoped that answers will be favorable. There is opportunity for participation by every one of us, rich or poor, with or without dependents, for there are any number of ways to do it in varying amounts determined by individual circumstances.

On the eve of the Dartmouth-Harvard game we continued the policy of including wives and again had cocktails and dinner at the Red Coach Grill in Boston. Attending from out of town were Bob and Grace Clark of Hawleyville, Conn.; Regan and Lois Brown of Greenfield, Mass.; Herm and Kay Carlisle of Springfield, Mass.; and from the environs of Boston were Haskell and Harriet Cohn, Fran Leland (Lucy was grandchild-visiting), Bob and AlmaHight, Walt and Doris Sands, Carroll and NanDwight and son Peter, Carter and Allie Hoyt,Odie Lee and Bill Bullen. After dinner we viewed the films Dartmouth Outdoors and Freshman Week.

To those who so thoughtfully have sent me news and clippings I want to explain that, to make room for the listing of Alumni Fund givers, space in this issue is limited so that I am holding those items over until next month. Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
