About this stage in the game, we are desperately looking for a diaper washer and changer. The remuneration is two cents per diaper and a daily guarantee of 150 diapers will be given all prospects, so if any of you were unsuccessful in having Don Cameron "place" you, please apply at once.

Ken Woody is now serving with the counter intelligence corps of the Army and has just completed special training. Last fall Jeff Hart, one of the Green's former tennis stars, won Columbia University's fall tournament and will play in the number one slot on the Morningside Heights Varsity in the spring.

The Beyond or Nearly so—Pete Stamats jumped off the wagon last December in Cedar Rapids, la., when he was married to Ann Shuttle worth. The couple "mooned" it in New Orleans. Lucky Hunter White wasn't there to show them the town, and from there journeyed to San Antonio, where Pete is with the Air Force. Here's hoping they can get back with us here Mid-westerners soon.

Howard Allen, now at the Wharton School of Finance at Penn, signified his desire with Jeanette Auerbach, a Smith senior. Their engagement was announced late in December, with wedding planned for June. I presume Jim Conroy and Betty Hammond have also announced their plans for a June marriage. Betty is at George Washington University along with Jim, who is attending law school.

Mary Relf got stuck with one of those wonderful things, a '51 Dartmouth man, on December 29, when she was married to WalterBush in Minneapolis. The city spent 'several very uneasy days when Vince Albo, HunterWhite, Pete Bogardus roared in to assist, or decease, Walter. Dick McFarland and your pen boy also helped out. (See photo.) They saw their "moon" from Northern Air in Wisconsin. Harry Boyce followed Walter into the "good life" in his marriage to Shirley Dickson in New York on January 12. Nassau saw them honeymooning before their return to New Haven, where Harry is still studying. Shirley is a New York debutante.

Lt. Bill Bridge, stationed at Quantico with the Marines, took time off from "work" to announce his engagement to Nancy Batchelder. Mighty good foresight. Nancy is a senior at Skidmore. Dick Bergman joins the group of engageds with his to Phyllis E. White late in December. Dick and Phyllis are both New Englanders so the match is naturally a good one. Phyllis attended Tufts College and is now with General Electric of Schenectady, while Dick is at Harvard Business School with many other grads and '51ers.

Jean Fowler is another lucky gal, and a lucky guy is Duke Winsor, who was engaged to her December 30 in Westerly, R. I. Duke counts himself among the gang attending Columbia now. By now, Loretta Kisler of Mount Vernon, N. Y., and Tom Trolle, now of Vero Beach, Fla., are married. We just received news of their engagement back in December. Lorrette was associated with Transportation Display Inc., of New York. Tom, along with many others in the Uncle's service, is at McGuire Air Force Base, N. J., another of those fly boys.

We just got the glad word of Art Worden's December engagement to Ruth Freeman. Ruth is a student nurse at Passaic General Hospital in New Jersey and Art is finishing up year two as a Tuck-Thayer mental giant. Their marriage day will be a great event. Bob Robinson recently jumped in with the group when his engagement to Catherine Millikin was announced to society in Lansdowne, Pa. Catherine is a graduate of Moore Institute of Art Science and Industry and is now teaching, while Bob is hoofing it with Sam's Army ... uncle, that is. We're very chagrined in not mentioning a wedding that took place here in Minneapolis last September. Humble forgiveness please. Tory Smith and Howie Reed had a glorious wedding and were ably assisted by Dave Wiggins. Tory just graduated from Vassar and the couple are teaching in a private school near Lake Placid, N. Y. Again our sincere apologies.

Wanderin'—Word in from New York has it that Ensign Mort Briggs is now aboard the U.S.S. Robert A. Owens in the Atlantic. The stones in the department of geology are occupying the time of Bruce Bryant, while the "spies" report Cort Cross is now with the Riegel Paper Corp. in New York and is among the Dartmouth Club circle along with Bob McCabe, who is in the advertising department of the Wall Street Journal. Deep in the oil sales is trainee John Mitchell of Socony-Vacuum Oil Co., working out of the Rutland, Vt., area. I believe we recently reported Chuck Packard soaking up the Florida sun; however, he is now an adjuster for the Commercial Credit Corp. down on the Gold Coast. Riding high on the bucket of suds is Ed Tolley, who is in. editorial research work for Tide Magazine—maybe there is no question.

Jay Wolf writes that he saw Dave Stuart before he sailed last fall on the Liberte for a year abroad. Did we mention that PeteCummings is at Harvard Business? He is. Jerry Staton is at Union Theological Seminary, along with Howie Fuller. The divine has Dick Bucey at Yale Divinity School.

A cheer and skoal of thanks to '50's scribe- dog, Scott (no relation to tissue) Olin, who has filled in to the ears with dope on the tribe. Scott says, "Had the glorious privilege of journeying across the nation with BobJackson, La Jolla, Calif.'s gift to '51. SandyMcDonald followed us in the game of tavern stopping, but soon returned East for partaking in Jack Hodgson's wedding in Buffalo back in July. Last word I had, Sandy was high jumping the draft and planning on some schooling at Northwestern and reveling in the better jazz dumps of the Windy City." Scott continues relating that Jack was at the Great Lakes with the sailing fleet Navy. Bob Bowler, Dick Rogers, Ted Eberle, AlKarcher, Dave Hilton, McFarland, Smily JimBalderston, etc., etc., are all among the coat and tie Tuck boys this season on the books. Scott has returned to the East and last week kindly scribbled to us on many more of the '51ers. He saw Bob Tomford and Dave White on the Stowe hills enjoying a temporary jaunt from Harvard Med School. Also around the fire sponging it up were McFarland, Eberle,Tobin, Fred Brown and company making a market analysis of General Beer Consumption, Inc. Herbie Knight was eating up the college bridge championships—taking candy from a baby, Herb—along with Jim Brown.Jack Skewes is out armying at Fort Devens, but took time out to see the Harvard bucket game.

Must hustle to hit the print. The young "marrieds" will forgive us if next month we dwell more fully on the jobs, news and activities of our many handsome bachelors still left for the females. The married list is so long and extensive we feel like we've married off most of 'em ourselves. So next month let's hear what Dick Pugh and Winston C. think about the English pubs. Best to all.
