Following an eventful holiday season highlighted by a cocktail party December 19, a group of 24 alumni gathered at the Blackstone January 16 to review the progress of the club during the past year and to discuss future plans. Art Jacobsen '29 and his Interviewing Committee have begun the important work of aiding admissions officers of the College in the selection of the best candidates for the class of 1956. Phil Brown '44 has completed the organization of a School Committee whose primary goal will be the development of top quality applicants for future classes. Plans for the Glee Club concert at the Sheraton-Belvedere April 4 are complete, according to chairman Art Lund '27. The program will consist of the concert at 8:30 to be followed by a dance and party for the balance of the evening. After the outstanding success of a similar party two years ago, a sell-out crowd is anticipated. All ticket inquiries should be addressed to Victor Bloede '40,5 N. Guilford Ave., Baltimore, Md.

Len Dunn '27 has regretfully advised that due to a change in his working status, he will be forced to retire from his position as secretary. Though unable to carry on such an active role, Len promises to remain close to College and alumni activities. In the meantime William G. Fraser '51 has been named to succeed him for the balance of the year.

At the time of writing these notes, we are looking forward to a gala party on February 14. On this annual Ladies Night Dean Neidlinger will be special guest. A full report of this affair will appear next month.
