The article in Life this week on Tuckerman's Ravine was a refresher. To most of us, now comfortably suffering saddle sores in the TV chair, and "too tied down to get away for any skiing," a dead run down the Head Wall looks pretty elementary.
Haven't heard much about any of the boys getting back on the boards, though. "Boog"McLoud created a little reign of terror on the Stowe slopes recently, and of course, JimBrowning is schussing about.. . and I surmise that Jack Snobble and spouse are still enjoying those long Alpine runs.
"Pete" Blaisdell's dad is the current Man of Distinction .. . very fine picture of him. "Dud"Wilson is back in the Air Force, took part in Operation Snowdrop, and was recently given his railroad tracks. He's stationed at Mitchel Air Base.
Phil W. Broxvn, recently engaged to Virginia Mauger of Philadelphia, has been transferred to Atlanta where he'll be in charge of the new North & Judd Mfg. Co. sales office. He has worked in their NYC office for the past two years.
Out in Phoenix, Loren Keys received his Bachelor of Foreign Trade degree at Thunderbird Field. Specializing in Spanish and international business administration, Loren will soon be en route to South America....
Joe McDevitt, selling for Pittsburg Steel, finally has some "immediate delivery" stock. Larry Ritter, Hollywood attorney must maintain a very ethical practice. I follow the gossip and scandal columns regularly, but haven't been able to locate Larry in any of the proceedings.
When Tom Crowder, president of the Haydn Society, was in Vienna on business last year, he met pretty Jenny Gross of London, and on January 19 took her as his bride in a Boston ceremony. They'll make their home in Boston. Lan Johnstone, who joined the class through the V-12 program, and Margaret Lynch of Port Richmond, N. Y., were married about the same time. After honeymooning in Florida, the newlyweds returned to New York where lan is with the New YorkTimes.

Russ Isner was in town recently, in as good shape as ever, despite having to keep lip with the twins and an ever-growing bakery business in Elkins, W. Va. In recent years the baking industry has been leaning toward the consolidation of small independents into large chains, and its a big feather in Russ' cap that he has been able to break in with a new company and take away business from the established big boys.
Can't beat these enterprising Ford dealers. Wheelbase: Date of Introduction: February 5, 1952!
P.S. Off season re-unions are growing in popularity among a number of classes. Summer weekends, or weeks, in Hanover would make for pretty good vacation planning. Accommodations at the Inn are more easily available the last week in June or the first two in July .. . and of course other locations like the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge are available. Kindly let me know soon what weekends or weeks would be best for you, and we'll arrange for a block of rooms. Programs of activities will be arranged, but if you have any trick ideas please jot them down. More on this when we determine how large a group we'll have.
