I AM sure there are no words of "thank you" which can both get through personally to 17,376 individuals and reflect adequately or accurately the appreciation of an institution for such a measure of its life blood as the 1953 Fund gave Dartmouth. Beyond this is it not also true that each of us who has been a giver to the Alumni Fund is himself deeply conscious of the gratitude he feels to the others who made so much possible for Dartmouth? However difficult it may be to do all of these things, let us simply say this is a reverent moment of thanksgiving in the far-flung Dartmouth family and for all that means to all of us my thanks are yours always.
