Lloyd S. Riford was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Wells College, Aurora, N.Y. For the past ten years Lloyd has been a trustee and has served Vice Chairman since 1944. Besides being Chairman of the Board of the Beacon Milling Co. of Cayuga, N.Y., he is president of the Auburn Guernsey Farms, Inc., and of the Auburn City Hospital. He is a director of the Empire State Chamber of Commerce and the Empire State Foundation of Independent Liberal Arts Colleges.

The George Watts' were in Orleans on Cape Cod this past summer as usual - much sailing and fishing. George is "visiting scholar" at Harvard and spent part of each week in libraries of Cambridge, Boston and New York. We had hoped to see him in Boston in December when here for the language meetings. Betty has graduated from Worth field and is now at College of Wooster.

Vic and Marjorie Dunbar may be kept from the 40th by Donald's Ph.D. at Ohio State University. If the dates conflict, Vic says neither college is likely to change their program.

Ben Andrew's son Russell was married to Jane Allen Ferguson on January 3, 1953, at Groton, Mass. Russell and his sister Frances both graduated from Ohio State University, where the family were living when they entered college.

Edmund and Gladys Freeman are headed for Florida in February from their home in Washington, D. C.

Wallace McCoy's son is with General Electric in Pittsfield, Mass., and his daughter is in Elmira. Wallace is fine in Montour Falls, N. Y.
