We've got to keep the class notes short this month because every December the editors list all the contributors to the Alumni Fund and that list is getting longer every year. The way the mail has been coming in, it won't be difficult to keep them short. My problem is getting news out. of you birds. However, there is a bit of information handy to wind up 1954. Quite a few of the gang were up at Michie Stadium for the slaughter at West Point. Monk Larson with his wife Barbara and daughter Brooke were among the brave ones to stay until the fourth quarter. Al Van Wie, Marston Gibbs and BobDarbee were also around for the best part of the game. While driving through Great Neck, L. 1., on the way to West Point, I pulled up at a red light and noticed a small man bogged down under a huge case of empty beer bottles. This remnant from a Friday night beer party turned out to be Red O'Connor who expressed regret at not being able to get to the game.

Harry Maxwell, who used to play a lot of golf in the old days and still gets a round in now and then, is now a personnel man with the Sun Oil Company in Philadelphia. Harrysays he doesn't get to meet many Dartmouth men and suspects that there aren't many of them looking for work. On the other hand, he has a friend who works in a taproom and apparently meets a lot of the boys.

Fred Meyer is still in Sweden in charge of the European business of the Methods Engineering Council, management consultants, of Pittsburgh. Fred's overseas assignment will end sometime next month and he hopes to be around his Pittsburgh diggings soon.

An insurance man in the news is Ed Larner of Lexington, Mass. Ed has been appointed an account executive with Fairfield and Ellis in Boston. After graduating from Dartmouth, Ed attended the Harvard Business School and served as a lieutenant in the Naval Reserve during World War 11. Then he served for a number of years as manager of the Casualty Department of Marsh & Mcennan in Boston.

Dutch Cotton, a Tuck man and a CPA, is a lecturer in cost accounting at the Waterbury branch of the University of Connecticut. Bruce Friedlich is the New York manager of Fortune magazine's advertising sales staff. Gene Adkins has moved east from his native Oklahoma and now is a resident of Bethesda, Md. Chuck Bolte's gang at Katonah, N. Y., now consists of wife Mary, two boys, four cats and ten dogs (as of this writing). Boots Nanos is now living in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. andMrs. Tom Dunlevy of Cazenovia, N. Y., had a son on September 20. Rich Fisher from New Canaan, Conn., and Bob Krieger from Minneapolis were in Hanover during October.

To allow room for all the names of the Fund contributors, we'll leave the Yale game report until next month. Also in the meantime we'll attend the big luncheon at the Statler on November 12 and hear what Red Rolfe has to say about Dartmouth athletics. That report, too, next month.
