Walt Peterson is taking a hand in national politics as state campaign manager for N. H. Congressman Norris Cotton, in bis current bid for a U. S. Senate seat. Walt is a partner in a real estate business, The Petersons, in the Peterboro, N. H., area and is president of the Peterboro Lions Club. He was Hillsboro County co-chairman in the "Gregg for Governor" movement in 1952.
C. E. Myers, Navy ensign, is serving at the U. S. Naval Auxiliary Air Station at Sanford, Fla., with Composite Squadron 9. After entering the Naval service, October 26, 1952, he reported aboard from the Heavy Attack Wing One at Norfolk, Va. He was graduated from Columbia Law School in New York City, and was married to the former Alice Miriam Cilley in New York in 1948.
Minneapolis-Honeywell Regulator Company has appointed Jack Daniels advertising manager of its Canadian subsidiary in Toronto. Jack has been a member of the parent company's advertising staff for four years.
Lee `Fiske and the former Gaynelle Dyer were married in Reidsville, N. C., December 12. Lee received an M. F. degree from Yale in 1949. and since that time, except for some time with the Navy in the Mediterranean, has operated a lumber business in Greenfield, Mass. The Fiskes planned to make their home in Greenfield after a two-week wedding-Christmas trip.
Harley Timbers was married the day after Christmas in New York City to the former Elaine Beatty, a graduate of Vassar College and the University of Wisconsin. We wonder if Harley continues to work with Western Electric Co., in Glen Ridge, N. J.
Gerry Phillips was married in New York City, December 27, to the former Sylvia Greenfield, a graduate of Adelphi College. Gerry has an A.B. from Dartmouth, an M.C.S. from Tuck School, and an LL.B. from Cornell, 1950. Since his graduation from Cornell, he has been with Phillips, Nizer, Benjamin, & Krim. The Phillips planned a Mexico wedding trip.
A May wedding is planned by Willie Childs and Dorothy Elizabeth Wilmot of Quincy, Mass. Bill is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, is associated with Merriman Brothers. He is director of the Quincy Civic Chorus, the Quincy Barber Shop Chorus, and is director of a local church choir.
Miss Kathleen Forwalk and Bill Reeve were engaged during January. Bill is working with Curtis Wright Corp., in Hackensack, N. J.
