Philadelphia

Most of us are familiar with the activity by alumni committeemen associated directly with the College. Members of the Philadelphia Association are fortunate to have had, as their district's Alumni Councilor, Jack Heston '28. To Jack, retiring after two terms on the Alumni Council and serving as chairman of the enrollment committee, we offer our sincere thanks. He also has two sons at Dartmouth, John '54 and Donald '57; he has been an active member of the Philadelphia Association for a number of years.

We enjoyed a very successful Christmas gathering on December 29, at which time we met with the undergraduates and their fathers at our annual Dutch-Treat Luncheon. Mr. Joseph Fisher, president of the Reading Railroad, spoke to the more than 75 men who attended. We also heard from Dick Flagg who brought us up to date on campus activities.
