President John Sloan Dickey was the feature speaker at the annual meeting and dinner of the Dartmouth Club of Western Connecticut at the Greenwich Country Club on May 7.
Albert Bradley '15, Chairman of the Board of the General Motors Corporation, was honored as the first recipient of the Connecticut D-Man award. Mr. Bradley, a native of England, holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Michigan. He joined General Motors in 1919 and has been with them ever since. He is a Trustee of Dartmouth College and an Overseer of the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration.
The following officers were elected for the coming year: President, Stephen A. Flynn '44; Vice-President, Roger Bury '27; Secretary, John N. Bathrick '34. Edward Miller '40 of Greenwich was re-elected Treasurer - and Charles Benton '35 of Greenwich was elected to the Board of Governors to fill out the remaining two-year term of Curtis Abel '25, formerly of Riverside, who has moved to the West Coast.
