On Friday, October 31, a class dinner was held at the Dartmouth Club in NYC. Thirteen classmates attended and most of them sat in on the class executive committee meeting held prior to the dinner.
Prexy Art Allen announced that arrangements had been made for a class reunion and executive committee meeting in Hanover about the weekend of October 10, 1959. While this date is not definite at this writing, it has been planned to coincide with the weekend of the Brown game. All classmates and their wives are invited to attend, while members of the class executive committee are expected to attend. Reservations for about 50 people have been made at Bonnie Oaks at Lake Morey about 25 minutes from Hanover. This is a beautiful time of the year in Hanover and it will give everyone an opportunity to spend a football weekend with their classmates and wives. More information on this will follow, but these are the plans thus far. This plan has been in operation for several years in other classes and has proven delightful and most successful.

Inasmuch as the above column has now turned out to be my swan song, I should like to take this opportunity to thank all those who did their best to keep me supplied with news of classmates. It has been fun but after five years and fifty columns, I am sure you will all enjoy a fresh approach. I shall now sit back and enjoy the monthly columns and newsletters written by Fred and the guest newsletter editors who will serve until Max Wolff takes over in April.
To each of you and yours - A Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!
