Washington newspapers reported the death of Myrta May Haskell, widow of the late Royal J. Haskell, at her home in Rochester, Mass., after a long illness. She is survived by her son Royal J. Jr. of West Hurley, N. Y., and to him and his family the Class extends their sincere sympathy in their great loss.

Katherine and Cliff Sugatt with their granddaughter Kit Shevernell sailed Friday, Aug. 25 on the Holland American liner
"Statendam" for an extended stay in Europe. They were indeed surprised to meet on board Mary and Cap Allen who had also been with them this past June at our Informal Reunion this year in Cooperstown, N. Y.
Early in the morning of the third day at sea tragedy struck when Mary Allen passed away suddenly and quietly in her sleep. The heartfelt sympathy of all his classmates and friends in College goes out to Cap Allen and his family in their terrific loss.
An additional gift from Guy A. Swenson and income from the Charles RaymondCabot Fund added July 31 to the other memorial contributions in his name have raised the total of 1912's contributions to this year's million-dollar Alumni Fund to $10,501.04.
On Sept. 9 Florence and Roy Lewis, Katherine and Connie Snow, Henry Bailey Stevens and his sister Mrs. Anna Knault and Lyme Armes spent a red-letter-day with Ruth (Mrs. Barrow) Lyons at her summer home in Tamworth, N. H.
Jim Steen put in a day of golf this past August with Randy Burns and Dick Remsen at the Bonnie Briar Golf Course in Larchmont, N. Y., and finished off the 19th hole at a big Rotary dinner at the Club that same evening.
Another Summit Meeting was held this August at Tree Top Lodge, Troy, Pa., with Irma and Heinie Lrion, Ethel and Dud Redfield and Henry Van Dyne and daughter Betty in attendance. The conversation at this meeting and all others lately seems to focus on "Me and You — in '62" and the plans for our Big 50th.
