Associate Dean Arthur C. Kiendl '44 was the main speaker at our annual dinner at the Union House in Red Bank on December 4. The Dean, who had driven down from Hanover that day, found himself in as fine a New Hampshire snowstorm as New Jersey has to offer.
A goodly number of alumni mushed over to enjoy the dinner, hear the Dean, and elect officers for 1958. Dean Kiendl gave an informative and interesting report on the College, punctuated by reminiscences and observations acquired in the course of his multifarious duties. Of special interest to the alumni were his discussion of the new threeterm curriculum for next year and the plans for the Hopkins Center. In the spirited question and answer period following Dean Kiendl's address everything from the Convocation to probation was discussed with great interest.
Coming events discussed were the dinner in the Waldorf-Astoria on February 5 to honor President-Emeritus Hopkins and the Dartmouth basketball game at Princeton on February 22. Club members are planning to attend both.
At the business meeting the following officers were elected: President, Oliver B. Lonover '53 of Spring Lake; vice-president, Ur- Daniel M.
