'46s are certainly doing their part in Dartmouth Alumni affairs around the country. The most recent roster of Dartmouth Alumni Officers finds the following '46s "in office"; presidents of local alumni clubs are Brad Morehouse in Bridgeport, Jack Eddy out in Des Moines, Wally in Utica and Bill Poole who is "acting president" for the Maine Association up in Portland. Those doing the chores as secretary of their associations or clubs are Bill Howell, who has the job in the tremendously big Chicago Association (incidentally Bill is with Harris Trust in Chi); others are Ed Brunhoff, the ex-Cincinnatian, secretary of the Western Michigan Club in Grand Rapids and old "Hose Nose" Weld, who is secretary of the Association of Northern New Jersey and serving under my old friend and former Daytonian Jim Elleman, '43; Johnny Greisberger holds the secretary's job in Rochester, Jim Pettit in Charlotte, N. C. and Vic Macomber for the Central Pennsylvania Club in Harrisburg (Vic lives in Mechanisburg, Pa.). Congrats — and best wishes to this hearty group who are carrying the ball for Dartmouth in the Hinterlands.
