Somehow the rain, sleet and gloom of night seemed as nought compared to the over-abundance of snow we experienced recently. The high drifts and low temperatures could be the excuse we're looking for to explain away a lack of news this month. If there is a dearth of material to pass along, there is at least a point of interest in noting that nary a wedding, engagement announcement, nor new papoose has been listed since last month.
Dr. Dick Tobin is now at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock.... John Conners is Chief Product Engineer for the Tyniswitch Department of Detroit Controls in Stratford, Conn.... Down the road apiece is Walt Lane who can be reached in care of engineering personnel at Sikorsky Aircraft Co., also in Stratford.... John Martin is pursuing a career of photogrammetric engineering in York, Pa.
Bill Sapers has won another Distinguished Salesman's Award for his ability at peddling insurance around Boston.... Dick Ceely is now Sales Manager of the Northern Division of Mullen Brothers, Inc., also insurance, in North Adams, Mass.
Dave Steinberg sent along his Alumni Fund contribution early (hint, hint, guys) with the news that he's left for Rangoon, Burma. Dave, his wife Kipp, and yearling son Chris, will be there for at least two years. As assistant representative, Dave will help in the Asia Foundation's aims to make private American support available to individuals and groups in Asia who are working for the attainment of peace, independence, personal liberty, and social progress, and to strengthen mutual respect and understanding among Asian, American and international organizations. Ought to be quite a tour.
Frank Hotchkiss has been appointed an associate to the architectural firm of Victor Gruen in Los Angeles. He attended the Graduate School of City Planning at M. I. T. after Dartmouth, and the University of Zurich. As senior planner and co-ordinator he is in charge of the St. Paul (Minn.) Urban Revitalization Project and a 5000-acre master planning study for Caracas, Venezuela.
During February several 50's played Hanover Inn-jun, including the John Teagles, Mr. and Mrs. Kim Swezey, and Don Hyatt.
How many of you caught "Point of No Return" on TV recently? Did you notice that the author of the adaptation was Frank Gilroy? Don't know what the critics had to say, but we certainly enjoyed it.

With so few native Texans on our roster, we were surprised to note how many members we have neighboring with Nat Royall in Dallas and elsewhere in the Lone Star State. In Dallas Cal Bauer, Bob Myers, and Dr. Dick Peach are transplants. Bob Cone and Charlie Hart now reside in Houston, while King Kenny can be found in Midland, and Charlie Belknap is in Waco. Quite a troop, what?

Lt. Comdr. Bob O'Neil says his stint at the Naval War College will be finished in June. He spent two years at the Test Center in Patuxent and will go back to a squadron come summer.... Paul Keetz is with the 7480th Supply Group of the Air Force, care of APO, New York.... Also receiving mail via New York's APO is Capt. Bob Wilkinson of the 4th Medical Dispensary.
