Dave Chapin, captain of the Varsity Hockey Team, was unable to play in the last six games as he broke his wrist in the game with Middlebury. The season's record was thirteen wins, nine losses and one tie.

Eric Kelly writes from the "Valley of the Sun" in Arizona that the building activity in and around Youngstown is amazing. The number of new houses in the past year has doubled and a full-fledged shopping center is practically completed. Only retired people are allowed to own or rent homes in this development. The Salt River about which we used to sing "Sail Away Up Salt River" no longer has any water in it but the mud is still there. Eric's book "Trumpeter of Krakow" is now in its 27th printing.

The class will be sorry to hear that Howard Williams died in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 4, 1958.

Don't forget that Dartmouth College is counting on your contribution to the 1958 Alumni Fund.
